Update files may contain private evidence. Keep them private; do not upload them to your website repository. The race export is a separate, read-only file and cannot be imported.
How to prepare an update file

Download a fresh template for the selected student. Change levels and add an evidence summary, source and reference. Keep the student name, lane, expected values and file ID unchanged. One file may contain up to 21 different student entries.

Signal order: Research direction & learning → Technical work & outputs → Engagement & meetings → Follow-through → Initiative & reflection. Each level is 0 (not evidenced), 50 (emerging), or 100 (established). These are assessment signals, not completion percentages.

Give the template to your assistant with the latest project updates and ask for a completed update file. Nothing is applied until you review it here.
